SYNOPSIS

This film is inspired by an actual U.S. law, that makes it almost impossible to grow, sell and trade home-grown foods, such as vegetables, dairy products, etc. This law was signed from president Obama in January 2011 and it could at any time become globally applicable. Because of the broad language of the law, a 'food facility' is not specified, so therefore is could mean a vineyard, a farm, it could even mean your own personal garden.

'Salvador' is a mockumentary presenting the scenario that this law applies to the personal garden, and therefore it is considered to be illegal to grow your own vegetables. Salvador is a man who becomes a criminal because of his passion for gardening. The film begins with his release from jail, and the whole film shows the rehabilitation program that he is put in to become a law-abiding citizen and to be re-inserted back into society.
